Mississippi Base Hosts Marine Reservist Training 

Reserve Marines from across the country recently met to train at Camp Shelby, Mississippi to fulfill certification requirements. According to a Marines report, the Tactical Air Control Party exercise took reserve members through live and simulated air support missions, preparing them for real world conditions. The varied terrain of Camp Shelby helped simulate different potential battlefields. 

Corvias Foundation Added to CFC 

The Corvias Foundation was recently selected for the Combined Federal Campaign, the official workplace charity campaign run by the federal government, Corvias reported on its website. This position is granted to charities who pass a vetting process to confirm their integrity and impact. Corvias, the nonprofit dedicated to assisting education for military families, will now be included in the program that has seen over $9 billion in donations.
