DOD Announces Future Homes for Data Centers

DOD is requesting proposals for AI data center development, marking four installations as potential homes for the project, Data Center Dynamics reported. The locations are: 

  • Fort Hood, Texas 
  • Fort Bragg, North Carolina 
  • Fort Bliss, Texas 
  • Dugway Proving Ground, Utah 

The requested proposals would utilize undeveloped land on military bases that have been designated as underused.
