California Airfield Receiving New $133 Million Hangar 

March Air Reserve Base, California broke ground on a brand-new hangar, bringing a new facility to one of the oldest airfields in the country, Patch reported. The hangar will house and service two KC-46A aircraft at a time.  

“This is a significant moment for March Air Reserve Base, which has been a cornerstone of American airpower for more than a century,” said Lt. Col. Stephen Brooks, deputy commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District. “This project will ensure it continues that legacy of excellence.” 

Kentucky Army Base Revives Civilian Leadership Course 

Fort Knox, Kentucky has brought back its civilian leadership course, which teaches community members about leadership in a three-week course, according to an Army story. The organizational leadership course is a reinvention of the base’s former civilian leadership course and features a collaborative learning environment where students share real world stories from their leadership experiences.
