Marines reenlisting in 2027 could be eligible for up to $50,000 in selective retention bonus kickers, according to a Marines report. The kickers are meant as incentives for Marines to transfer to specialties prioritized by the Pentagon, including drone technicians and cyber, Military Times reported.
“Retaining our most experienced and qualified Marines remain one of the service’s highest priorities,” the memo says. “It is imperative the Marine Corps builds upon past successes and continues to prioritize retaining the best and most talented Marines.”
