Military Community Unites Over 100 Mile Challenge
The Global War on Terror 100 challenge, started by Team RWB, is seeing veterans, service members, and civilians across the country log miles this month to participate in the program. According to Military.com, more than 24,000 people have signed up, running, cycling, and swimming miles to reach 100 by the end of February. Along the way, participants unlock digital rewards and stories from the war in Iraq.

Texas Base Upgrades Utilities to Conserve Energy
Fort Bliss, Texas recently completed three energy projects to make the installation’s utilities more energy efficient. According to an Army report, the improved lighting, water security and energy storage systems will save the base a projected $136 million over the next 24 years. The projects were completed in collaboration with the Huntsville Army Engineering and Support Center.
