Non-Profit Provides Foster Homes for Military Pets 

Operation Foster, a program run by nonprofit PACT for Animals, provides foster homes for the pets of military members who are deployed and for veterans seeking medical care. Forbes reported that volunteers for the program choose which pets to take care of while their owners are away, with over 3,000 homes being arranged since the program’s founding. New Hampshire Base Starts New $16M Range 

Pease Air National Guard Base in New Hampshire is preparing construction of a new small arms range on the base. The $16 million project will replace the outdoor range that has operated on the base since the 1950s, according to a National Guard report. Training capacity is expected to double in the new range, with 14 lanes and the ability to operate all year.
