Sourcewell is now the official partner of ADC’s Great American Defense Communities program, which honors communities across the United States that go above and beyond for military families.

“We are honored to continue growing our partnership with the Association of Defense Communities,” Sourcewell CEO Chad Coauette said. “We look forward to celebrating the communities who demonstrate what exceptional military-community collaboration looks like.”

The Great American Defense Communities program launched in 2016 and has celebrated more than 50 communities.

“Sourcewell is committed to helping us celebrate the wonderful things communities are doing to support military missions and military families,” ADC President Tom Ford said. “We look forward to this collaboration.”

Nominations will be open this week for the 2026 class of Great American Defense Communities.
