Army, Air Force Test Counter-Drone Systems at Maryland Base 

Joint Base Andrews, Maryland hosted the Joint Interagency Task Force 401, tasked with synchronizing counter-drone operations across the branches, as the Army and Air Force tested the base’s defensive capabilities. According to an Air Force report, the collaboration ran a simulated drone threat at the base and evaluated the installation’s ability to detect, track and neutralize the threat. 

Partnership Helps Injured Service Members During Relocation 

Tampa Bay, Florida nonprofit Operation Healing Forces has partnered with PODS to help wounded and injured Special Operations members relocate during recovery. According to a Military.com story, PODS is now OHF’s exclusive moving and storage partner, donating resources to military families who are relocating to help alleviate outside pressures.
