Bill Would Provide Outdoor Funding for Veterans

A bipartisan bill recently introduced into the Senate would provide $10 million in state grants to help fund outdoor activities for veterans adapting to life after military service. Introduced by members of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) and Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.), the Veterans Outdoors Rehabilitation Act would encourage the development and enhancement of nature-based programs for veterans, Stars and Stripes reported.
