Energy Resilience Tested at Texas Base
Joint Base San Antonio, Texas completed a large-scale energy resilience training, simulating a multi-day black out to see how the base responded. The scenario observed the impacts to critical systems with a special focus on communication, forcing units to coordinate and work as a team without phones or internet. Oregon Range Partners to Provide Counter-Drone Training
The Pendleton UAS Range in Oregon has partnered with autonomous systems company Gambit to create a counter-drone training service for military installations. UAS Magazine reported that the partnership will simulate drone threats and let infrastructure test their counter-drone systems for efficacy. The new program, titled Red Force, will host a live demonstration April 23.
