Energy Resilience Tested at Texas Base 

Joint Base San Antonio, Texas completed a large-scale energy resilience training, simulating a multi-day black out to see how the base responded. The scenario observed the impacts to critical systems with a special focus on communication, forcing units to coordinate and work as a team without phones or internet. An Air Force story covered how the insights from the event will help inform emergency contingency plan creation in the future. 

Oregon Range Partners to Provide Counter-Drone Training 

The Pendleton UAS Range in Oregon has partnered with autonomous systems company Gambit to create a counter-drone training service for military installations. UAS Magazine reported that the partnership will simulate drone threats and let infrastructure test their counter-drone systems for efficacy. The new program, titled Red Force, will host a live demonstration April 23.
