Members of ADC’s Military Spouse Leadership Initiative have released a new toolkit, providing recommendations for communities to build stronger connections to military spouses. “Mind the Gap: Connectedness, Integration, and Continuity” covers the three pillars of the proposed CIC framework.
“We are not asking communities to conform to military culture, and military spouses are not asking to conform to a community’s existing structures,” the report shares. “What we are asking for is integration, the kind that happens when two entities decide to build something together.”
