Boingo Wireless, ADC partner and provider of connectivity at over 100 installations, has launched its newest operation at Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz in Guam. The base plans to house 5,000 Marines, many of whom live in unaccompanied housing. The new Boingo project provides connectivity for those Marines, helping them stay connected with their loved ones who are potentially thousands of miles away.
“Connectivity is now how Marines stay close to their families, especially in a more remote location,” said Rebecca Gray, Boingo SVP & GM Military. “We take on these difficult environments and tight timelines and establish connectivity that can grow as the base grows.”
Before beginning the project, the Boingo team visited the installation with their team of veterans, some of whom had served at the camp previously.
