According to an Air Force report, the event brings families through interactive stations to simulate deployment preparedness.
“Preparing families is a critical component of overall readiness,” Air Force Master Sgt. Angeli Thompson said. “By connecting families with support agencies and familiarizing them with deployment procedures, the event aimed to strengthen the support network behind deploying service members.”
