Maryland Base Hosts Spouse Appreciation

Joint Base Andrews, Maryland hosted a military spouse appreciation night, giving spouses a chance to make connections and learn about resources. According to an Air Force story, the base’s Military and Family Readiness Center led the event and provided childcare for families so the parents could engage in the night’s workshops.

“Your sacrifice is a foundation upon which our military stands,” Col. Jun S. Oh said at the event. “Without your strength at home, our service members could not focus on their critical missions abroad. You are the unseen force multiplier of our armed forces.”
