New Jersey Installation Hosts 300 Military Children

Three hundred military children came to visit Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey for the 20th annual Bring Your Child to Work Day. The event brought kids through different stations, splitting into groups based on age, and providing hands-on experience with technologies and systems being used by their parents, according to an Army report.

Veterans Group Gifted Trailers from Installation

Yuma, Arizona, home to Yuma Proving Ground and Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, is also home to the American Veterans of Yuma’s Foothills, which lost its center for veterans services in a fire last year. According to an Army report, Yuma Proving Ground helped provide two trailers that were scheduled for destruction, allowing the veterans organization to open a temporary front to keep serving its community.

ADC designated Yuma as a Great American Defense Community in 2025.
