Corvias Hosts Resource Fair for Career Transition 

Fort Bragg, North Carolina was home to a resource fair hosted by the Corvias Foundation to help provide career guidance for transitioning service members, military spouses, and military children. Community partners helped provide career resources, educational activities for military children and guidance on navigating benefits. 

Barksdale AFB Honors Shreveport-Bossier GADC Designation 

Barksdale Air Force Base release celebrated local community’s designation as a Great American Defense Community, with Shreveport-Bossier, Louisiana being honored at last week’s ADC50 Summit. Barksdale credits community-led initiatives to support service members as the source of their strong partnership. 

“This recognition reflects the strength of our partnership with the Shreveport-Bossier community,” said Col. Chris Cain, 2nd Bomb Wing commander. “That unmatched support by our intentional and informed partners creates an outsized impact on the lives of our families while we execute the mission without fail.” 

The Great American Defense Communities is an ADC initiative with partner Sourcewell.
