Wisconsin Base Hosts Open House
Fort McCoy, Wisconsin hosted its community at an annual Armed Forces Day Open House. Attendees saw interactive activities and visited with soldiers on the base, WKBT reported.
“It’s an opportunity to connect to our community,” said Shayla Baez-Ramirez, garrison commander at Fort McCoy. “We cannot thrive as a military community if we do not account for all the support we get from our local communities.”
