200+ Students Complete Georgia’s First Statewide CyberPatriot Camp

July 10, 2026

More than 200 students successfully completed CyberPatriot Camp in Georgia last month, in what Alliance for Fort Gordon President and CEO Tom Clark said is the biggest group in the seven years since the alliance has sponsored the camp. It is part of the Air & Space Forces Association CyberPatriot program.

“This year it was statewide,” Clark said. “This year we connected virtually to Georgia State University, and we’re teaching here in Augusta, transmitting there. So we have 42 students in Atlanta. Then they’re teamed with the Boys and Girls Club there.”

An ADC delegation met campers as part of a celebration designating Greater Augusta a Great American Defense Community.

“I was really impressed with how bright the young people are and how committed they are to learning these skills from NSA instructors,” said ADC Board Member Kimberly Huth, who was part of the delegation visiting Augusta. “They understand that this is the next frontier for our national security, and we’re proud to see that they’re ready to step up.”

The delegation also included ADC Board Members Rick Dwyer and Keith Graff, ADC Executive Matt Borron and representatives from Sourcewell, the official partner of ADC’s Great American Defense Community program.
