The Coast Guard has announced a new free service for military spouses to help support their careers. SpouseWorks, Military.com reported, will provide career resources through the Military OneSource’s SpouseWorks page.
“SpouseWorks empowers spouses to invest in their future through individualized support, career planning, and pathways to scholarships and that can help transform career goals into reality,” the Coast Guard said.
The program will offer professional training and career planning, free courses, and access to the Military Spouse Employer Partnership network. SpouseWorks hopes to expand into offering fellowships and scholarships to military spouses in the future.
