Joint-Service Collaboration Repairs Mississippi Infrastructure 

A collaboration between the Air Force Reserve Command, Air National Guard and the Navy, along with local organizations, led to the revitalization of the infrastructure at Camp V-Bar, Mississippi. According to an Air Force story, the team of 80 service members revitalized the roads and the nearby Morning Glory Lake dam, which was originally built in 1973. 

Nonprofit Sends Books, Community-Designed Bookmarks for Service Members 

The nonprofit Books for Boots has contributed 18,000 books, puzzles and crafts throughout the military community, WAFB reported. A recent call for community donations asks for unique hand-decorated bookmarks to be created from a template and mailed in to be distributed across the country. Download the template and participate using the organization’s website.
