STEM Program Welcomes New Class of Scholarship Students 

The Army Engineer Research and Development Center has selected a new class of scholarship recipients as part of the DOW Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation Scholarship (SMART) program. According to an Army report, 28 students were awarded scholarships to help them achieve STEM degrees. 

Army Moves INSCOM to Texas Base 

The Army Intelligence and Security Command is relocating from Fort Gordon, Georgia, to Fort Hood, Texas, the Army announced. The move will allow for the HADES air defense craft to have more room.  

“HADES will enable the Army and Joint Force to conduct long-range sensing to enable the execution of long-range precision fires,” said INSCOM Commanding General Maj. Gen. Timothy Brown. “The key to the future of Aerial ISR is the consolidation at Fort Hood of the mighty 116th!”
