‘Game of Drones’ Unites Drone Systems in California 

A three-day Defense Contract Management Agency-sponsored event at Edwards Air Force Base, California brought together vendors and stakeholders to discuss drone technology.  

“‘Game of Drones’ brings together teams in charge of manufacturing, policy, procurement, test and employment of these systems all in one space,” Air Force Maj. Christopher Vorgert said, according to a DOW report. “It’s helping to innovate how we do test, how we break through information stovepipes and how we accept and empower small, joint or industry partners in the sUAS and C-sUAS domain.” 

Instacart Includes More States in Grocery Program 

An initiative to provide money for groceries for military families is being expanded to four additional states. Originally just based in Texas and North Carolina, installations in Virginia, Florida, California and Washington will now also be part of the Fresh Funds initiative, AL.com reported. The partnership between Instacart and the Military Family Advisory Network provides $125 in grocery funds to military families.
