President Joe Biden called retired Army Col. Ralph Puckett at his home in Columbus, Georgia to tell him he’s upgrading his Distinguished Service Cross to the Medal of Honor, the Washington Post reported. Puckett, 94, has mentored Army Rangers for decades and is considered a spiritual leader and honorary colonel of the 75th Ranger Regiment….

The Missouri Veterans Commission and the Missouri Department of Economic Development have partnered to launch the Missouri Benefits and Resource Portal, according to a press release. The joint effort is “a great step toward helping military members and their families learn about the assistance available to them in their own backyard,” said Paul Kirchhoff, the commission’s executive director.
