From driving innovation at our military installations to insight on national defense policy, ADC’s events bring the defense community together all year. Two signature events anchor the calendar: the Installation Innovation Forum, the leading event for innovation and community partnership, and the Defense Communities National Summit, our D.C. policy event with direct access to national decisionmakers. We also host specialty events like the Energy and Water Forum, ADC Connect, and regional events nationwide.

As a new Congress settles in and changes continue to take hold in the Department of War, 2026 midterms, ADC will bring together defense community leaders, industry partners, and government officials in the nation’s capital for the field’s premier policy event.
Expect direct insight on defense policy, installation readiness, and the partnerships that keep America’s military communities strong – straight from the people setting the agenda.

2027 Installation Energy & Water Forum
February 2027 | Washington, DC
Energy and water are the backbone of installation readiness, powering operations, supporting families, and enabling the mission. As AI, autonomy, and advanced communications reshape defense, these systems must be resilient and always on. Energy and water security is built through partnership among DoW, utilities, communities, operators, and industry.
The Installation Energy & Water Forum returns in 2027 to bring these stakeholders together: sharing DoW priorities and strategy, examining policy and investment drivers, highlighting innovations from the field, and advancing the partnerships that strengthen resilience and mission assurance.
