Lawmakers are pushing the Air Force and Army to find a solution for Northwest Florida Special Forces families still looking for child care solutions “nearly two years after a solution was announced,” as Air Force Times reported. “Being expected to drive over an hour each way to drop off your child or pick them up at a child development center is not an acceptable solution,” said Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), ranking member of the military construction panel of the House Appropriations Committee.
