New Partnership Aimed at Protecting Great Salt Lake, Four Installations

The Great Salt Lake near Hill Air Force Base, Utah Test and Training Range, Dugway Proving Ground, and Tooele Army Depot, is now part of the Sentinel Landscapes Partnership, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. This program, involving the departments of Agriculture, Defense and Interior, aims to conserve natural resources and support military readiness by providing federal funds for projects like water conservation.

New ‘Instant-On’ Fiber Wi-Fi at Fort Carson

Boingo Wireless recently launched advanced “instant-on” fiber internet service at Fort Carson, Colorado, according to a press release. “Lightning-fast service enables families to stream multiple devices anywhere in the home, pursue online education and training, engage in remote work, stay in touch with loved ones, access gaming and entertainment platforms and much more,” said Rebecca Gray, senior vice president and general manager, military at Boingo Wireless. Boingo partnered with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service and Balfour Beatty Communities to deliver the service.
