New 2-Star Command on Guam
DOD established a new senior command on Guam this month, the region’s first two-star command in decades, as Stars and Stripes reported. “Joint Task Force-Micronesia is focused on breaking down barriers and strengthening our ability to work as a team to ensure a free, open and prosperous Indo-Pacific region,” Rear Adm. Greg Huffman, the new task force’s leader, said during an event at Andersen Air Force Base.
Laptops Donated for Fort Eisenhower Families
AT&T and Human I-T recently donated 100 laptops to the Alliance for Fort Eisenhower in Georgia, according to a press release. The laptops will be distributed to Fort Eisenhower families. “With AT&T’s donation, we are equipping Fort Eisenhower families with access to technology that will help them succeed in school and in life,” Augusta Mayor Garnett Johnson said.
