The Virginia General Assembly is holding another special session today to discuss whether to reverse a decision to reduce tuition assistance for family members of veterans, as Military.com reported.

Installations’ Impact in Texas Exceeds $150 Billion

The military installations in Texas have a $151 billion impact on the state’s economy, according to a new state study, as Texas Border Business reported. The military is responsible for more than 677,000 direct and indirect jobs, the state found. “Working together with our military communities throughout the state, we will ensure Texas remains the most welcoming home to the men and women of the greatest military in the world and offers ongoing, unmatched support for their critical missions,” Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said.
