Reagan Institute: Majority of Americans Want U.S. Engaged in World Affairs

About 54% of Americans want U.S. policymakers to be engaged in international affairs, according to a Ronald Reagan Institute survey, as reported by Military Times.

The number is up from around 40% in the past three years the institute conducted the survey.

“The American people want the United States to lead on the global stage, especially in light of conflict and chaos unraveling around the world—and they support President Reagan’s peace through strength philosophy,” Ronald Reagan Institute Director Roger Zakheim said in a press release.
