Military installations make up $16.68 billion in economic activity in the Dayton, Ohio, area, according to a Dayton Development Coalition study, as reported by the Dayton Business Journal. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base accounts for almost 30,000 direct jobs and more than 50,000 indirect jobs, and there are more than 7,800 jobs associated with the Dayton VA Medical Center and the Springfield Air National Guard Base….
