The Senate overwhelmingly passed the fiscal year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act Tuesday, sending it to the President for a promised signature.
Senate Armed Services Committee Chair Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) said before the vote that the bill sends “a clear message to our troops and our adversaries that this body is serious about our national security,” CQ reported.
