Furthermore, applicants may submit a pre-proposal form through the partnership’s website by March 29 at 8:00 PM ET. “Promising submissions” will be invited to submit a full proposal and have 60 days to submit a full proposal. Final designations will be announced no later than December 21.

“Founded in 2013, the Sentinel Landscapes Partnership is a coalition of federal agencies, state and local governments, and non-governmental organizations that works to advance mutually beneficial land-use goals in project areas known as sentinel landscapes,” according to a recent press release by REPI.

Designations of the 2020 Sentinel Landscapes Partnership included military communities in Arizona, Georgia, and Central Florida.
