DOD Officially Launches DCIP 2021 Grant Funding

May 18, 2021

The DOD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation is now accepting applications for the Defense Community Infrastructure Program (DCIP). The official announcement is on grants.gov.

OLDCC will hold a pre-proposal webinar June 2. All applications are due by July 12.

DCIP was enacted by Congress to support infrastructure projects that impact communities and the installations that call them home.

Mission value will be a priority in selecting projects, OLDCC Director Patrick O’Brien recently told ADC.

“We have military value up front. We have installation resiliency, and then we have family and quality of life,” O’Brien said on ADC Live.

ADC will have more on the new DCIP guidelines on ADC Live Wednesday at 3 p.m. Eastern.
