Thursday: OLDCC Webinar on DCIP Proposal Process

April 17, 2024

The DOD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation is hosting a webinar April 18 at 3 p.m. Eastern time for community organizations considering submitting a proposal for the Defense Community Infrastructure Program.

OLDCC officials will discuss the proposal process and answer questions about what makes a successful grant application. You can access the webinar link on the DCIP website.

Proposal Deadline Is June 17

The full opportunity notice is listed on Grants.gov. OLDCC is accepting proposals through June 17 for awards to be finalized this fiscal year.

Congress provided $100 million for this round of awards.

DCIP is designed “to assist state and local governments, and not-for-profit, member-owned utilities in addressing deficiencies in community infrastructure supportive of a military installation,” the funding notice says. That “includes projects related to transportation; schools; hospitals; police, fire, or emergency response, or other community support facilities; and utility projects.”
