The city of Quincy, Massachusetts is naming two new streets after modern-day generals, AP reported. The city council recently voted to name one General McConville Way – after Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville – and another General Joseph F. Dunford Drive – after the former Joint Chiefs chair. “Both of them were sons of veterans and came from pretty amazing local families,” Mayor Thomas Koch said. The roads are part of a new bridge and park project that will also honor five other generals from Quincy.
