The Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation is hosting webinars June 1 and 15 at 2 p.m. Eastern time about the Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program.
The $30 million competitive grant program supports long-term community investments to strengthen national security innovation and expand the capabilities of the local defense industrial ecosystem.
“ADC members, with the capabilities of their many partners in academia and industry, are strongly encouraged to consider this program as an enabler for organic efforts to deliver innovation at the speed of relevancy for the Department of Defense,” OLDCC Director Patrick O’Brien said.
O’Brien recently provided a DMCSP briefing to ADC leaders.
Interested states and communities with their public and private partners have until July 19th to submit proposals through grants.gov to proposed consortiums to deliver defense manufacturing technology and innovation in critical workforce development, facilities, research and development, or small business assistance.
Those interested in the June 1 and 15 webinars can register on OLDCC’s DMCSP site.
OLDCC is also hosting a webinar June 2 about the Defense Community Infrastructure Program, as On Base reported.
