Army Appears on Track to Meet Recruitment Goals

January 23, 2023

The Army may meet its high fiscal year 2023 recruitment goals after falling short last year. Since October, the Army has recruited about 18,5000 new soldiers and has about 13,000 in the recruitment pipeline, Maj. Gen. Johnny Davis, who heads Army recruitment, told Military.com.

If the Army kept up that first quarter pace, it would bring in 74,000 recruits before the fiscal year ends in September. Its goal is to have 65,000 new soldiers.
