Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio now has about 35,000 military and civilian employees, a new milestone and roughly twice the number who worked at the base about 20 years ago, Dayton Daily News reported. “Those individuals are part of our community,” Rep.  Mike Turner (R-Ohio) said. “They buy houses, they go to restaurants. In addition, that shows Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Air Force are spending more dollars in our community than they were before.”…

Michigan is well-positioned to help the military train for posts in arctic weather conditions thanks to the Michigan National Guard’s facilities at Camp Grayling, Sen.
