Lendlease and Holo Hou Energy have agreed to install solar power and energy storage systems on Island Palm Communities homes on Oahu, Hawaii, according to a press release. The project has been in the works since 2021. “Lendlease Communities is proud to partner with Holu Hou Energy on this innovative renewable energy project, which will not only improve the quality of life for military families at Island Palm Communities but also contribute to a more resilient and stable electric grid in Oahu,” said Matt Lynn, SVP, Energy & Utilities at Lendlease. “This partnership further solidifies our commitment to developing sustainable communities using cutting-edge technology.”
