DCIP Applications Due Friday

June 20, 2023

This year’s Defense Community Infrastructure Project grant application period closes Friday at 5 p.m. Pacific time, according to the official grants.gov announcement.

DCIP “is designed to address deficiencies in community infrastructure, supportive of a military installation, in order to enhance military value, installation resilience and military family quality of life, according to the Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation.

One required component of the DCIP application is a project support statement from the installation commander. Navy and Army attorneys clarified last week that such statements do not violate ethics rules, as On Base reported.
