The Pentagon and the Treasury Department both have teams that look at foreign or unknown investments near military installations to ensure there is no threat to the base’s military mission. Leaders from both agencies discussed what they look for and how they handle the investigations during ADC’s recent daylong ADC Connect forum, “Foreign Investment Near Military Installations and the Role of Defense Communities.”
