The War Horse reported on California’s new Veterans Support to Self-Reliance program, a three-year pilot to help formerly homeless veterans over the age of 50….

The Missouri Department of Economic Development is searching for a consulting organization to manage The National Security Crossroads. The program is a collaboration with Kansas “for the express purposes of protecting the performance capacity of all national defense and security assets located within the Crossroads region and ensuring those assets have the innovative resources and the workforce talents and skills to carry forward resilient and uncompromised,” according to a project summary. The consultant will “be responsible for the general administrative support for grant management and coordinate all appropriate communication with and reporting to the Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation, the states of Kansas and Missouri, and the Crossroads organization.” The solicitation is open through Feb. 20.
