The federal government is fully open, after President Trump and Congress agreed to a three-week stopgap spending bill Friday.
That makes Feb. 15 the new deadline to reach a deal on immigration, including whether to fund a wall on the southern border.
One Coast Guard spouse in Rhode Island said her family will remain on a tight budget.
“We’re just still uncertain as to how to proceed with this,” Mariah Battermann told the Associated Press. “For our household, we’re definitely going to stay cautious.”
