A&FR Assists Reservists, Service Members with Free Home Education Resources

April 30, 2020

Service members trying to keep their child’s mind sharp during pandemic can receive help from the Airman and Family Readiness (A&FR) unit.  A new free resource offered is access to tutor.com, which provides on-demand access to academic support for students from Kindergarten to college.

“With the temporary program expansion, online tutoring and homework help via https://military.tutor.com/home is now available at no cost to any adult or child in a DoD civilian or Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve or Wounded Warrior military family,” said Mandie Holovach, Airman and Family Readiness Programs specialist.

A&FR also provides personal finance and career coaching for Reservists and others struggling during the crisis. “The local A&FRC or A&FR office can assist with reviewing resumes and providing feedback to improve resume for those seeking employment,” said Holovach.
