The Minnesota National Guard is deploying 400 members to support nursing staffs at long-term care facilities in the state, KARE 11 and other outlets reported Monday. “Our long-term care facilities are facing an all-hands-on-deck moment,” Gov. Tim Walz (D) said. The citizen airmen and soldiers are already training to be certified nursing assistants and temporary nursing aides….

President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden visited Fort Bragg, North Carolina Monday and served “Friendsgiving” meals to 250 troops, as WTVD and others reported. “I’m so damn proud to be associated with you,” President Biden said. “It’s hard for me to say it, but what’s amazing to me is how proud I am to be your Commander-in-Chief. You’re the most amazing group of men, women and warriors we’ve ever seen.”
