Service members from Huntsville, Alabama, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida; Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii; Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington; and Fort Meade, Maryland are among the winners of the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s 2021 MILITARY STAR Home for the Holidays Sweepstakes, which awarded a total of $35,000 to service members who used their MILITARY STAR card to shop. “With all the sacrifices military families make in service of this nation, the Exchange Credit Program is honored to make these shoppers’ spirits a little brighter this holiday season,” Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby, the Exchange Service’s senior enlisted advisor, said in a press release….

The Arkansas National Guard has been ordered to pay more than $130,000 to a woman whom a jury found was discriminated against, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported. In a federal civil trial, the woman said she and other Black employees were skipped over for promotion.
