DCIP Informational Webinar Scheduled for June 2

May 26, 2022

The Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation will host a second public webinar June 2 at 3 p.m. Eastern time for communities interested in applying for the current round of Defense Community Infrastructure Program grants.

DCIP will be awarding $90 million in competitive grants by September to assist communities and states construct off-post infrastructure projects to boost the military value, resilience or family quality of life at a local installation.

“As a long-standing proponent for this program, we encourage ADC members to work with their local military installations and pursue opportunities for this program to leverage public and private capabilities to deliver needed public infrastructure to support the nation’s defense needs,” OLDCC Director Patrick O’Brien said after providing a recent briefing to the ADC board of directors.

Interested parties can register for the June 2 webinar on the OLDCC’s DCIP site, which also includes a Frequently Asked Questions fact sheet.

DCIP grant applications are due July 18 through grants.gov.
