Air Force Opens Public Comment Period on Military Family Basing-Decision Scorecards

August 21, 2023

The Air Force is seeking public comment on how it calculates Support for Military Families scorecards related to spouse licensure reciprocity and dependent education, according to an announcement published last week.

Congress has required that the basing-decision scorecards be available online to all military families.

This public comment period is open through Oct. 15. You can review the documents and submit a comment here.

The Air Force said that later in the year it will open a comment period for scorecards related to health care and housing.
