Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) signed an executive order banning foreign nationals from several countries from purchasing farm land near military installations in the state, as the Springfield News-Leader reported. “We believe this order… sufficiently protects Missouri’s security interests from potential bad actors while not punishing our allies for being good economic partners or upstanding individuals fleeing oppression and coming to our nation legally in search of a better life,” Parson said….

The Coast Guard has a new maritime strategy for the Great Lakes region, Michigan Radio reported. The plan includes a focus on cybersecurity as commercial port activity in the area becomes increasingly automated.
