Six Texas Communities Receive Infrastructure Grants

The state of Texas awarded a total of $15.4 million in grants for infrastructure projects in defense communities, according to a press release.

The communities are:

  • City of El Paso (McGregor Range)
  • City of Fort Worth (Naval Air Station Fort Worth)
  • City of Harker Heights (Fort Cavazos)
  • McMullen County (Naval Air Station Corpus Christi)
  • TexAmericas Center (Red River Army Depot)
  • Val Verde County (Laughlin Air Force Base)

“The men and women serving on these installations are integral members of their communities, and their missions are critical for national defense,” Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said.
